"I may have been through hell and back, but I am strong enough to walk through hell with a smile on my face and my head held high and with my feet firmly on the ground," said Michelle Knight, one of three Ohio women who were held captive for a decade each before escaping in May. The three women—Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus—posted a video on YouTube Monday night, appearing healthy and grinning as they thank their supporters. "Everyone who has been there to support us has been a blessing," said Berry, whose daring escape with her 6-year-old daughter led to the trio being rescued. Ariel Castro, 52, has been charged with 329 counts of kidnapping, rape, beatings, and more—and only covers five years of the women's captivity.
