Illegal Immigrants Working In the U.S.
If we really needed all these workers from other countries, Congress could issue green cards for all of them. That would be political suicide, given that we have more than 13 million citizens who cannot find work. Rather than trying to track down, identify, and deport several million people, what we need is a way to get them to go home on their own. We can do that if we just make it very expensive for the people who hire them.

The "Glengarry Glen Ross" School of Motivation
OK, this is probably one of the most classic scenes in any film dealing with business - ever! It is where a young, thin, pre-"30 Rock" Alec Baldwin delivers his tour de force performance in the movie version of David Mamet's classic stage play, Glengarry Glen Ross, released in 1992. So, for you youngsters who haven't seen this "all-time" classic, watch below (and with a disclaimer, it does have some "R-rated" language):
Now, a number of years later, Alec Baldwin had great fun spoofing this role - and himself - on a Christmas episode of Saturday Night Live - watch (and this one you could even show the kids):
So, how would you react if "F-U, that's my name" came to your workplace to motivate you? Ever been in a situation even remotely like this? Post your comments here on the blog.
