By Adrian Chen Secret Service Official Twitter Account Bashes Fox NewsIt's almost too good to be true, but the tweet above apparently briefly appeared on the official Secret Service Twitter account. It was promptly deleted, but not before dozens of people retweeted it, including Time political reporter Amy Sullivan. This screenshot appeared on the Tumblr of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Was it an errant direct message? An employee who forgot to log into their personal account? A hacker? Either way, the Secret Service's very brief foray into social media has already proven much more entertaining than hundreds of tweets from the Taliban. Update: Steven Ferrezza took a photo of the tweet on his iPhone before it was deleted. (Click on the image to expand) | May 18th, 2011 Top Stories |

2. Air Force One Aborts Landing
Air Force One, with President Obama on board, had a missed approach on
its first attempt to land Wednesday morning at Bradley Field in
Connecticut. The plane circled the airport and successfully landed on
its second try. Weather at the time was overcast, with visibility of 1.5
miles. Sources say the missed approach was not dramatic and would not
have caught the attention of those on the ground. In fact, members of
the press on the plane said they did not even notice anything out of the
ordinary. A White House spokesman called it "a standard and safe
procedure."
