In response to 'Game of Thrones': Will the HBO Series Catch Up to George R.R. Martin's Books?:

Unfortunately, I think there is little chance that GRRM will finish the 7th book before the show catches up. The show runners will have to start purely inventing dialogue and situations based on limited information from Mr. Martin. Granted, they could throw him a bone and let him write two episodes of a season or seasons based on books he hasn't finished yet. But that would also slow down the process of writing the books.

In response to Meet John Oliver, Jon Stewart's 'Daily Show' Replacement:

Jon Stewart is brilliant, but this is the problem when a guy hosts a show for this long and then leaves, if even for a short time: people don't give the new guy any kind of fair shot. Oliver hasn't been bad, but people are like, "Eh, he's not as good as Stewart." Stewart's had 14 years to perfect everything he did as host. Oliver has hosted the show for THREE DAYS. He'll get better. Give him a chance.
