OK, we may think - especially here along the Gulf Coast - that BP is basically being run by Dr. Evil and Robert Wagner, but, they are by no means alone in the "Business Hall of Shame."

I loved the video clip of Dr.Evil and I understand how they are comparing him to other large compaies including BP. Looking at those pictures in the article I noticed that Standard oil co. was in the top fifty most hated companies and I now know why after just finishing my Louisiana history class.
I can completely understand where they get their comparison from when it comes to the most hated companies and Dr. Evil. I found this very interesting and informative and I enjoyed learning about the companies and why they are so hated.
The list included some easily predictable companies. Mostly, oil companies and Goldman Sachs. I was surprised to see Nestle and United Fruit on the list. I guess their scandals were a little before my time. After working for Sprint for several years, I am surprised to not see them on the list. Almost every customer I had told me they hated our company.
I was not surprised to see most of these companies on the list and I noticed that 5 of the 13 listed are chemical or oil companies. I was shocked to see Nestle on the list because I had never heard of any scandel involving their company.
What a great comparrison with using Dr. Evil. I was not surprised to see some of these companies on the list involving companies and scandals. Like most others it was a shock to see that Nestle was on there.
I think the Dr. Evil picture is hilarious and fitting. I believe the hate of these companies relate to how their actions have affected individuals. For example, BP would be hated by someone that was a fisherman in the bayou in Louisiana. I enjoyed the list because some of these things I didn't know about. Overall a great very informative post.
Nice video, But of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion and the companies mentioned may be hated by some but not all.
Considering I have never heard of some of these companies (I guess my head has been in the sand somewhere), I can't be surprised. What does surprise me is the reaction to Nestle but I guess formual for babies was a relatively new thing back then and people didn't know much about it. My biggest suprise though was that Exxon Valdez is still hated more than BP.
Some of these I had never heard of, some I was surprised by, mainly Nestle! It isn't surprising that these oil and chemical companies top the list!
I have stronger feeling for some of those companies than others, but I hate the fact that most of those companies have or had a serious monopoly on the market b/c of government allowing them to do so. Government sponsored capitalism always leads to extreme corruption and inevitably corporatism which is fascism!
I really liked how they compared Dr. evil. I understand how they compared him with big companies and I enjoyed this because I found it really informative and showed me a little bit why some companies are so hated.
I had no idea nestle was one of the top most hated companies. This upsets me because I just did a report on Switzerland. I also found some of the companies I have never heard of to have some very strong reasons on why they are hated. This article has changed my perception about some of the companies listed.

I agree with where they posted BP...for now. In ten years I may have a different opinion as we will then know more about the affects of the spill. Almost all companies have skeletons in their closets, however these companies did do pretty bad things and got caught. However I do not really agree with having Nestle' as high up on the list as it is.
Was not really surprised by the list because some I have never heard of. Nestle was little socking only cause I hared of it and couldn't imagine why it would be so bad. But hey you never know.

A lot of this list does not surprise me at all. I expected to see BP, Exxon, and Microsoft on there. I surprised to see Nestle on the list. I was a little surprised that BP was only number 6. I figured they would be top 3.
This article was very informative since I'd mostly only known about BP yet never heard of some of the other companies on the list. I also liked how they included a video of Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers' movies!
Many companies have had huge legal battles and have been in the public eye for negative actions. I know our focus has been on BP because their mess is the most recent and could take years to completely clean up, if it can ever be cleaned up. I'm glad this was an article for us to read because we definitely need to remember that there are several companies that are right up there with BP for huge issues causing huge problems.
After the huge oil spill crises, they were a shoe-in for one the most hated companies in the history of business. Even though their plan wasn't for world domination, they did not handle the crises like it should have been handled.
Not surprized at all to see Oil companies on the list. I am mostly surprized that Charter Communications is not on the list. They are the worst company on the planet and have the worst customer service of all time.
Defenitely upset with BP of course. They could have done alot better job to handle the siutation. Hopefully these businesses can do better in the future, so thier not so hated.
