Watch An Old Man In A Nightgown Shoot Up A Speed Camera Truck

By Matt Hardigree

Watch An Old Man In A Nightgown Shoot Up A Speed Camera TruckAn unidentified senior in Sante Fe, New Mexico, apparently fed up with the city's unmanned speed camera truck, decided to take action and fired half-a-dozen rounds from a handgun into the vehicle's windshield. As it was 1:20 in the morning, the man was wearing a flowing white nightgown.

Of course he was.

Does anyone else think he looks a little like Obi-Wan Kenobi in this video?

Police in Santa Fe released video on Friday of an elderly gentleman shooting at an unmanned speed-enforcement vehicle earlier this month in the hopes that someone can help identify the perp.

The vehicle had police markings on it and was equipped with radar and cameras to capture speeders. At around 1:20 in the morning on April 11th the truck's video systems captured the "Nightgown Bandit" — as no one calls him — pull up in what appears to be an Audi Q5.

Somehow only three of the shots connected with the vehicle and none damaged the camera equipment. The man yells something indiscernible, takes another shot, and walks away.

This isn't the first time someone has gone nutso on a speed camera, but it's maybe the first time someone has done it while wearing a nightgown.
