BREAKING NEWS: Fed Says Economy Expanding Moderately, Some Improvement in Labor Market

The Federal Reserve said Tuesday the economy is "expanding moderately, notwithstanding some apparent slowing in global growth," and noted there has been some improvement in the labor market. However, in leaving rates unchanged again, the central bank said the economy is still one with "significant downside risks."
