A 17-year-old Minnesotan was allegedly planning a Columbine-style attack for months but was arrested Thursday. John David LaDue was subsequently charged with four counts of attempted murder, two counts of damage to property, and six counts of possession of a bomb by someone under 18. LaDue allegedly planned to kill his mother, father, and sister, then head to his high school where he would set off pressure-cooker bombs full of nails and ball bearings in the cafeteria. Afterwards, he planned to kill "as many students as he could." LaDue's alleged planning even had him setting off "practice bombs" at an elementary school, park, church, and softball fields.
