Microsoft Offers Sneak Peek at Windows 8
Microsoft recently pulled back the curtain on its next version of Windows, code-named Windows 8, at two shows. At Computex, the company demonstrated how the next-gen OS will work on both x86 and ARM-based architectures. And at first glance, Windows 8 appears to embrace a user interface familiar to anyone who's seen Windows Phone or played with many of the tablets currently on the market.

RSA Will Replace SecurID Tokens Following Attack
After the data breach at Lockheed Martin, RSA is offering to replace the SecurID tokens used by enterprises and the government. Attackers in March initially used a phishing email to steal information related to SecurID from RSA. One critic says RSA should have replaced the tokens immediately, rather than wait until major attacks occurred.
