What colour is the moon?

When you seen the moon shining brightly in the night sky,it looks like silvery in colour.But the moon actually has no light of its own.The glow you see is only the reflected light of sun.

In photographs taken of moon,it appears dull and grey.However the lunar surface actually does have a bit of colour,in very subtle shades.These colours give clues about the minerals present on the moon’s surface.The younger flows of lava are blue grey,while the older ones are reddish grey in colour.
