I’m sure you’ll all remember the horrendous bout of freezing weather, as many people were held up in homes, shops forced to close and people’s spirits were further dampened.
The awful weather we experienced during the period up to Christmas no doubt gave a shock to the economy and caused businesses to hemorrhage slightly as they lost out on a few days sales. It’s unfortunate that Mother Nature had to decide to fail us whilst Britain was trying to recover from the disastrous years the recession caused.
