One of the two nurses who contracted Ebola while treating Thomas Eric Duncan in Dallas is going to flown to Maryland for treatment at a National Institutes of Health isolation unit. Nina Pham was the first nurse diagnosed with the virus last Sunday. The other infected nurse, Amber Vinson, was flown to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta on Wednesday. NIH and Emory are two of the four facilities in the U.S. equipped to handle Ebola. Notably, this leaves Dallas Presbyterian Hospital without any Ebola patients after being criticized for poor handling of the situation.
