Keep Politicians Out of Our Grocery Carts!

Below please find a message from one of our advertisers, Americans for Food and Beverage Choice. Please note that the following message reflects the opinions and representations of our advertiser alone, and not necessarily the opinion or editorial positions of The Daily Caller.

Dear Concerned American,

Do you think politicians are better qualified than you are to decide what you should be eating and drinking?

We at Americans for Food and Beverage Choice say absolutely not! If you agree, sign the Petition for Food and Beverage Choice!

Whether it’s a “soda tax” or portion size restriction, government regulations like New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s “soda ban” won’t make Americans healthy—only diet, exercise and nutrition education can do that.

But year after year there are folks in Washington and in state capitols and cities across our country who think it’s their job to tell us what to eat at a restaurant or what groceries to buy! Join us to stop the insanity!

You can’t tax people to better health. And such discriminatory taxes and regulations threaten Americans’ basic freedom to choose for themselves and for their families what to eat and drink.

That’s why we invite you to join us as we work year-round to protect the freedom of individuals across our country to choose the foods and beverages that complement their lifestyle.

Sincerely,

Americans for Food and Beverage Choice
