The Cynical Girl: When to Let Go

I hope today is the day you realize that you’ve been in your job too long.

You are stagnant.
You are blocking someone else’s growth.
You aren’t challenged.
You are no longer as effective as you used to be.

It’s true.

But the good news is that you can begin a job search while you still have a job. Take the plunge and start your own business. Look for other opportunities within your company. Retire.

When we stop clinging to our old jobs and our old lives, we open ourselves up to new and better possibilities. Imagine what you could do if you had an honest conversation with yourself and moved on with your life.

It could be pretty sweet.

When you let go is up to you. Let me suggest that the time is now.
