With advice from former CIA operatives and lawyers, Disney bought up the land for Florida's Disney World and orchestrated a unique legal situation—and set up an unconstitutional form of government. An excerpt from TD Allman's 'Finding Florida'.

ARMCHAIR REFEREE

Don't call golf fans passive viewers. A New York Times report illuminated just how involved they are in their sport, often affecting the outcome of tournaments. Unlike any other sport, golf officials are allowed to make or alter rulings after receiving texts from keen-eyed viewers at home (usually friends) who flag a rule violation. Case in point: the controversial ruling at Saturday's Masters tournament that penalized Tiger Woods for a ball-drop incident a day after it occurred. The Times article reveals that it was a friend of an official spotted the violation, and sent a text message notifying him about it. The PGA even fields phone calls from viewers about rule violations, and says it takes the complaints seriously.

TWO GIRLS

Audrie Pott, who killed herself after an alleged gang rape, was in Obama's inaugural parade—and so was another 15-year-old who died four months later. The Daily Beast's Michael Daly reports.

SAVE US

Secretary of State John Kerry traveled to China Saturday—his first trip to the country since taking office—to ask for its help in easing tensions with North Korea, amid continuing nuclear threats as North Korea tests its missile system. Kerry will be in China for three days, meeting with top leaders to discuss ridding the Korean Peninsula of nuclear weapons. For his part, Kerry said that the U.S. would remove its own missile defenses from the region in exchange for China's help, though he did not specify which. China agreed to the idea of removing nuclear weapons from the Korean Peninsula, though leaders did not publicly state what steps exactly it would take.

CRINGE-WORTHY

This is not an Onion news item. Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam this weekend, and signed the museum's guestbook before he left. The note he left must be seen to be beliebed: "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber." The Anne Frank House posted the note on its official Facebook page, which has detailed celebrity visits before, so this all appears to be real. Now for a good Sunday read, head to Twitter where the mocking of Bieber has commenced.
