June 26th, 2012Top StoryGame Ends As Raul Mondesi Jr. Forgets To Touch Home Plate After Game-Tying Home RunBy Barry Petchesky Yes, that Raul Mondesi, Jr. He's in the Brewers organization, at Rookie League Helena. Mondesi came to the plate in the bottom of the 10th with the Brewers down 2-0 to the Missoula Osprey, the Diamondbacks' affiliate. Helena's manager sounded nonplussed, but accepting. This is a teaching moment!
The crowd reaction is obviously the best part of this video. Pure confusion is pierced by a few isolated angry voices, finally giving way to boos as the visitors celebrate on the mound.
