Hi, David. A few days ago we learned (through one of our favorite thinkers, Seth Godin) that a friend and colleague of his is fighting off leukemia and needs help. His name is Amit Gupta. In the interest of The Golden Rule Act of Give > Take (I just made that up, it's not a real thing... well, I guess it is now), when you have a moment, I hope you'll look into his cause to see if it's something you feel called to help. He's doing chemo now but eventually will need a bone marrow transplant. That's where he's looking for some help. Because he's South Asian, the chances of finding a matching donor are much more difficult (I guess you need to be South Asian to be a match for Amit). If you're up for it, my recommendation is... Get on the Be The Match Registry (even if you're not South Asian). It's easy, painless, and free. Click here. For Amit, if you're South Asian really consider it. If you're in NYC or know someone who's in the city, you could attend this event Amit's friends are holding (it's this Friday, the 14th).
