CHEAT SHEET
MUST READS FROM ALL OVER

FRIEND ME
1. Facebook Woos Washington

President Obama hosts a town-hall at Facebook headquarters today, a sign
of the social media giant's growing political power and its oddly
symbiotic relationship with the president: he needs Facebook for
reelection, the company needs him to stay in Congress' good graces. The
Daily Beast's Dan Lyons says that what TV was to John Kennedy, Facebook
is to Obama.

LETTING UP
2. Gaddafi: Free Elections After Conflict

Do you trust him? Muammar Gaddafi's foreign minister, Abdul Ati
al-Obeidi, tells the Guardian that the Libya could hold free,
U.N.-supervised elections six months after the current conflict ends -
and that Gaddafi might even accept an interim government. Obeidi said
Gaddafi is considering retirement, and also that the regime wants a
ceasefire. However, Gaddafi's troops continued their assault in Misrata,
where rebel leaders said they cannot hold much longer.

3. Japan Could Ban Access to Nuke Zone

Japan is expected to legally ban people from a 12-mile radius
surrounding the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant, a change from the
current evacuation zone which is technically voluntary. In recent days,
some families have begun returning to the zone to recover belongings,
while some 200 households - mostly elderly people and livestock farmers
- never left. Nuclear experts worry the increasing traffic will make it
difficult to decontaminate the area.

4. Apple Readies New iPhone for September

Another day, another Apple rumor, but this one seems well-sourced: Apple
will release a new iPhone with a faster processor in September, three
sources tell Reuters. One source says production will begin in July or
August, and the new phone will look similar to the current iPhone 4.
MacRumors suggests the new processor will be a dual-core A5, to match
the new processor in the iPad 2.

SCANDAL
5. 'Three Cups of Tea' Probe Launched

Montana's attorney general is looking into 'Three Cups of Tea' author
Greg Mortenson's charity, the Central Asia Institute, after author Jon
Krakauer and '60 Minutes' raised questions about its spending. In the
recently published 'Three Cups of Deceit,' Krakauer accuses Mortenson of
spending millions of CAI cash on private jets and advertising for his
books. One former board member tells Krakauer that Mortenson "regards
CAI as his personal ATM." The charity, based in Bozeman, Montana, told
the press Tuesday that Mortenson was being treated in the local hospital
for a heart ailment.
