Sabrina Allen of Texas, missing since 2002, was found by American authorities with her mother in Mexico yesterday. Allen and mother, Dara Llorens, were taken into custody in a town southeast of Mexico City. According to law enforcement, Llorens abducted Allen during an unsupervised visit after divorcing from Sabrina's father, Greg Allen. Llorens is now being held in custody in lieu of a $300,000 bond and has been booked on charges of aggravated kidnapping. A secret mission by the FBI, U.S. Marshals, and Mexican authorities grabbed the 17-year-old girl on Tuesday. One team member was injured during the operation. Allen is reportedly undergoing medical evaluation at an undisclosed location and has not yet been reunited with her father. Her mother managed to avoid capture, in part, by changing her daughter's hair color.
