Who’s ready to do the Ellen dance?! We’ve got some wonderful news to share! A few weeks ago, we featured a different kind of ALS ice bucket challenge video featuring a young man named Anthony. The video was watched millions of times, and helped spur over $10 million in donations to the ALS Association on the day it was posted alone! But it’s about to get even better. Thanks to your support, Anthony is going to be on the season premiere of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' this Monday, Sept. 8, to challenge her and spread even more awareness about the terrifying disease (and its underfunded research). We want everyone to tune in and support Anthony as he talks about his story on the national stage. To make it easy, we’d like to send you a reminder email the morning he’s on the show so no one forgets to tune in. Are you in? With your help, we can spread awareness nationwide, support those with the disease, and help find a cure so future generations don’t have to. By the way, Anthony has a few words to share with the folks who supported him. We think you’ll like this almost as much as his video. — Team Upworthy
