The New York Police Department has arrested a man suspected of assaulting V. Stiviano, the woman who secretly recorded Donald Sterling making his infamous racist remarks, and charged him with a hate crime. Dominick Delorio, 40, of Long Island also faces charges of assault, harassment, and aggravated harassment for allegedly attacking Stiviano when he and another man followed her and attacked her outside of her hotel, the Gansevoort. Stiviano had knocked Delorio's phone out of his hands when he tried to take a picture of her and put his phone to her face. Police officials say the two men directed racial slurs at Stiviano, and when one held the door open to her cab for her, the other punched her in the face. Police say they have identified the second man involved in the attack, but he is still at large.
