The Richmond Times-Dispatch refused to endorse anyone in Virginia's governor's race, saying "we would not urge a family member to vote" for Terry McAuliffe, Ken Cuccinelli, or even third-party candidate Robert Sarvis. That's pretty harsh. The sensational editorial calls out Cuccinelli for having "rigged the process for the Republican nomination" in a scheme that "would have delighted the sachems of Tammany Hall." McAuliffe, meanwhile, is described as only having the nomination because of a "weak bench." Libertarian Robert Sarvis, while having "neither embarrassed himself nor insulted the commonwealth," "lacks the experience the job demands."
