Officers received an emergency call to an apartment complex in the southern Seattle suburb of Federal Way around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. By the time they arrived, a gunfight was already underway, and by early Monday morning, five people had been shot and killed, including a suspect who was likely hit by police fire. All eight officers who fired their weapons at the scene are now on customary administrative leave as the investigation proceeds. It's still unclear what sparked the shooting, but Federal Way spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said, "We're gonna continue to go door to door in hopes that we can find some additional witnesses, and hopefully we won't be finding any more victims."
