Developers Get an Eyeful of Windows Phone, Kinect
With the release of the next version of Windows Phone--dubbed "Mango"--coming later this year, Microsoft is providing developers with more hardware capabilities, better browsing and improved tooling, as well as expanded opportunities and Windows Phone Marketplace options. The company also announced it will release non-commercial Kinect for Windows SDK to encourage developers to create experiences with natural user interfaces.

Nokia to Outsource Symbian to Accenture, Lay Off 4,000
Nokia, in an effort to cut expenses by more than $1.4 billion, is letting go of 4,000 employees and plans to send another 3,000 workers to Accenture, which will oversee Symbian.
