The most shocking video from ISIS yet shows a captive Jordanian pilot being burned alive. Christopher Dickey and Shane Harris report that Muadh al-Kasasbeh was apparently executed weeks before the terrorists claimed they would release him for a would-be suicide bomber. Harper Lee will publish her second novel, more than 50 years after To Kill a Mockingbird. The new book, entitled Go Set a Watchman, is a Mockingbird sequel set to be released in July. Her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel was published in 1960, but Lee said Go Set a Watchman was actually completed in the 1950s. "It features the character known as Scout as an adult woman, and I thought it a pretty decent effort," Lee said. "My editor, who was taken by the flashbacks to Scout's childhood, persuaded me to write a novel [what became To Kill a Mockingbird] from the point of view of the young Scout."

Britain's House of Commons voted Tuesday 382-128 to allow the creation of babies from three people—sort of. The technique concerns mitochondrial DNA, which governs energy production in cells and is only passed on by the mother. Defective mitochondria can lead to organ failure, blindness, and epilepsy. About one in 5,000 children in the U.S. inherit a defective one. The technique allows a woman to donate her healthy mitochondria to the mother's DNA, which fixes the energy problem but keeps the other 99.99 percent of genes untouched. That egg is then mated with male sperm in IVF. The British House of Lords must approve the measure before it becomes law.

A father of two was sentenced to 55 years in prison for selling pot. The Koch brothers want to help set him free and make him the face of their new campaign for criminal justice reform, Tim Mak reports.
