Donation From Mrs Edith Coleman

From: Mrs Edith Coleman

Dear,

I am the above named person From Kuwait. I am married to Mr. Lobi Coleman who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Coast for nine years before he died in the year 2001. We were married for eleven years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days. Before his death we were both born again Christian. Since his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against.

When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of $5.Million (five Million U.S. Dollars)in the security company here in Abidjan is still with the security company. Recently, my Doctor told me that i have serious sickness which is cancer problem. The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness.

Having known my con dition I decided to donate this fund to a church or individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein. I want a church that will use this fund for orphanages, widows, propagating the word of God and to endeavor that the house of God is maintained.

The Bible made us to understand that Blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I don have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and I don want my husband efforts to be used by unbelievers. I don want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly way. This is why I am taking this decision.

I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace. I don need any telephone communication in this regard because of my health hence the presence of my husband relatives around me always. I don want them to know about this development. With God all things are possible.

As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the security company here in Abidjan. I want you and the church to always pray for me because the lord is my shephard. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian. Whoever that Wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and Truth. Please always be prayerful all through your life.

for moreinformations, any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing another church or individual for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I Stated herein. Hoping to receive your reply.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
Yours in Christ,
Mrs Edith Coleman

The Latest Earthquake and Tsunami News

By Hamilton Nolan

The Latest Earthquake and Tsunami News

The Latest Earthquake and Tsunami NewsJapan continues to uncover the full extent of the devastation from this morning's massive earthquake; meanwhile, tsunami waves head towards the West Coast of the U.S., and South America. The latest news updates are below.

  • Hawaii was spared any serious damage from the tsunami waves. Waves were projected to arrive at Northern California around 10:15 EST this morning, and in San Francisco around 11. Coastal residents in Oregon have evacuated. A warning has been issued, but San Francisco's not expecting any major damage. Tsunami warnings remain in effect for the following countries: Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru, Russia, Fiji, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
  • The earthquake was the fifth largest in the world since 1900, and Japan's largest in 140 years. Police now say they've found up to 300 bodies in the Japanese city of Sendai, close to the quake's epicenter. Here's an interactive map showing earthquake damage in the region.
  • Global corporations are spending the morning trying to assess the extent of damage to their Japanese operations. The stock market experienced a brief sell-off this morning, but has now stabilized. Stock futures in Japan lost 5% of their value today.
  • You probably won't be flying into Japan today. Tokyo virtually ground to a halt following the quake this morning: "But for a few minutes after the ground began to rattle, the concern burned into stoic Tokyoites' faces was much bigger: What if this was the 'big one?'"
  • President Obama has issued a statement of support, and has a news conference planned for later today. Other global leaders are taking similar steps.
  • UPDATE: In a news conference, President Obama said the U.S. will be offering all the assistance necessary to Japan. The Defense Department already has Naval ships heading to the area. The State Department is urging Americans not to travel to Japan unless absolutely necessary, saying aftershocks could continue for "weeks."
  • Japanese officials say that the nuclear reactor damaged in the earthquake "remains at a high temperature" because of problems with its coolant system. "Trade Minister Banri Kaieda said that a small radiation leak could occur at the plant."
  • And now this: a new, magnitude 6.6, earthquake has "struck the central, mountainous part of the country," causing buildings in Tokyo to start shaking again. No immediate new damage reports.

Each week, The Daily Beast sifts through the cultural landscape to
choose three top picks. This week, Adele makes listeners swoon, art is
found in soap suds and a temple for books, and gossip threatens to
overtake Paris Fashion Week. Dive in.

Retro, Unconventional, Famous

As her excellent new album '21' sits pretty on the Billboard albums
chart for the second week in a row, Adele and her powerful pipes are
taking the nation by storm. She's got a retro, bluesy, addictive sound -
and is also ushering in a new wave of stardom. After a decade of
domination by Britney Spears and her ilk, one celebrity stylist tells
Jacob Bernstein, "Five pretty girls in mini-skirts are not going to sell
a record anymore." The reign of the conventional pop princess appears to
be over, with starlets that embody conventional ideals of beauty
throwing on ever more extreme outfits. Everyone's scrambling to get
noticed, but talent appears to be rising to the top. Will it last?

EXCLUSIVE
1. Bill Clinton Backs No-Fly Zone

At Newsweek and The Daily Beast's second annual Women in the World
summit, former President Bill Clinton spoke candidly about his views on
Libya - his support for a no-fly zone is at odds with the Obama
administration and his wife. Clinton also blasted Rep. Peter King's
Muslim hearings and reflected on why we've never had a female president.

DISASTER
2. 8.9 Quake, 23-Foot Tsunami Hit Japan

A powerful 8.9 offshore quake hit Japan on Friday, sending a massive
tsunami into the Pacific. A tsunami warning is now in effect for the
entire Pacific, including the U.S. West Cost, Canada, and Alaska, and
South America. In Japan, boats, cars, homes, and people were swept away,
and fires burned in its wake. At least 60 people were killed and dozens
more were injured. The wave is reported to have been 23 feet, and sent
boats, trucks, and burning buildings miles inland, slamming debris into
overpasses, before receding. The Daily Beast's Lennox Samuels on the
aftermath.

FOREIGN POLICY
3. White House Increases Pressure on Gaddafi

The White House announced Thursday a new plan to oust Libya's embattled
leader, Col. Muammar Gaddafi, but still stopped short of committing
military to the region. This response contradicts President Obama's
chief intelligence officer's comments earlier Thursday about Gaddafi,
saying that, "over the longer term …the regime will prevail." The White
House has a five-point plan to isolate Gaddafi - including partially
embracing the rebels as well as making threats to track and prosecute
Gaddafi's army for war crimes. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said
she will meet with Libyan opposition leaders next week as well.
Meanwhile, NATO deferred their decision about sending forces in until at
least next week. European leaders have also been mixed about how to
react.

ROUND TWO
4. GOP Preps Another $6B in Cuts

At this rate, the GOP will reach their goal of $61 billion in cuts by
the end of the year. House Republicans are working on another round of
budget cuts to attach to a measure that would keep the federal
government running for another three weeks. The cuts are expected to be
mostly earmarks, as Republicans put off intensely partisan proposed cuts
like the defunding public broadcasting or Planned Parenthood, though
Rep. Mike Simpson (R-ID) says there has been pressure to add more
contentious cuts. House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers
(R-KY) said Republicans will continue to cut $2 billion for every week
they extend government funding until a longer-term budget is passed.

UNREST
5. Saudi Arabia Protest Turns Violent

Protests in Saudi Arabia turned violent when police officers opened fire
on marchers in the eastern city of Qatif. Witnesses dispute whether
police fired over people's heads or directly into the crowd, but at
least three people were injured in the skirmish, including a police
officer. A video posted online allegedly from Qatif showed a group of
protesters chanting "The people want the release of the prisoners" and
"Our protest is peaceful; Sunni and Shiites are brothers; we will never
betray this country." Moments later violence erupted. Qatif is a region
heavily populated by Shiites, who believe they are discriminated against
by the Sunni government.
