CHEAT SHEET
MUST READS FROM ALL OVER

MAD AS HELL
1. Exclusive Poll: Anger in America

As unemployment hits 9.1 percent, Americans are losing their cool. A
Newsweek/Daily Beast poll finds rising anger levels affecting everything
from work to sex drive. Gas and grocery prices are soaring, the housing
market is crashing to new lows, and yet another dismal jobs report has
confirmed a stubbornly high unemployment rate, The Daily Beast's Douglas
Schoen reports. Three-quarters of respondents think the country is on
the wrong track. A majority say the anxiety wrought by this recession
has caused relationship problems and sleep deficiency. Two-thirds even
report being angry at God. See the results of the poll. Plus, great
thinkers from Cornel West to Robert Reich tell us what they're angry
about.

NEW ERA
2. Yemen Celebrates President's Departure

Crowds of demonstrators celebrated in the streets of Sanaa this weekend
over the news that President Ali Abdullah Saleh had left for Riyadh. The
Yemeni president is in Saudi Arabia to seek medical treatment following
a rocket attack on his palace that left him and several senior officials
injured. There is intense speculation over the seriousness of Saleh's
injuries and whether he will return, but for the time being it appears
Vice President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has taken over. The White House
says President Obama has spoken with Hadi, an indication that Hadi is in
fact in charge. Even if Saleh doesn't return, Yemen's troubles won't be
over. He left behind his son and onetime heir-apparent Ahmed, who
commands the presidential guard and who met with Hadi last night.

CLASH
3. Israeli Forces Fire on Protesters

Israeli forces fired on Palestinian protesters in Syria as they
approached the border fence on the Golan Heights on Sunday. The
pro-Palestinian demonstrators had come out for the 44th anniversary of
the 1967 War, when Israel captured the Golan Heights, West Bank, and
Gaza Strip. According to Syrian state television, two protesters were
killed. On the anniversary of Israel's founding last month, 13 people
were killed as Israeli forces tried to prevent protesters from breaching
its borders with Syria, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip.

VIGIL
4. Thousands Rally in Hong Kong

Massive crowds gathered in Hong Kong to mark the anniversary of the
Tiananmen Square crackdown in 1989 and to protest human-rights abuses in
China. Organizers say around 150,000 people stood in Victoria Park on
Saturday. Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China with its
own laws, has held a vigil for the crackdown every year since 1989.
Protest organizer Lee Cheuk-yan says the human-rights situation in China
is the "darkest" it's been in the last 22 years, as authorities use the
protests in the Middle East to justify their repression. Taiwan's
President Ma Ying-jeou called for the release of detained dissidents Liu
Xiaobo and Ai Weiwei.

ERUPTION
5. Chilean Volcano Spews Ash

A volcano chain in southern Chile, dormant for decades, began to erupt
on Saturday. A six-mile-high tower of smoke has been rising from the
Puyehue-Cordon Caulle range, about 500 miles south of Santiago, forcing
over 3,000 people to evacuate. The ash is drifting over into Argentina,
forcing the closure of the border and an airport. The volcano has been
spewing ash and molten rock, but so far there has been no visible lava
flow. The last time the range erupted was in the 1960s.
