I don't quite know if this is the "real eel" (ha!) or a fantastic photoshop - still, appears genuine and it is from CBS News (don't start with the mainstream media criticism - think they are really coming-in strong on this crisis). The eel though - wouldn't bet on him living long!

We in Louisiana very much appreciate having national-stage advocates such as James Carville and Mary Matalin now living in New Orleans and truly making it their home. They can get a camera and a world-wide cable news audience at any time, and hopefully, what they are reporting first-hand will make a difference. Yes, we were just coming back from Katrina, and now this - and the oil spill promises to be a years and perhaps decades-long recovery that is going to wipe the coastal areas out ecologically and economically - great job - keep talking!

Obama's Options: What He Can And Should Say About The Oil Spill Today

Here, Hear - let's just hope he hears! All of us in Louisiana get it - and we're apparently going to continue to "get it" for months and years to come - thanks BP! Time for the adults to take over - bring in the military and the world's foremost scientists and other experts to help fix this thing and help figure-out how the heck to get this muck of oil and dispersants out of our marshes. People's lives and livelihoods - indeed a whole region - depend on it.
