Android, Windows Phone to Pace Mobile Market by 2015
Google's Android in 2011 will take Symbian's title as the top smartphone OS, with 39.5 percent of the market, IDC says. Meanwhile, Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 will have 5.5 percent. That will change by 2015, when Android will be first and Windows Phone 7 a strong second, buoyed by the Microsoft-Nokia partnership.
