Whether in good faith or just plain lack of direction, Cameron’s attempt at creating the “Big Society” brings forth many questions as to what he is trying to achieve at a time of: rising inflation, mass unemployment and stalling growth.
It seems like a wonderful idea, Cameron trying to apparently create a new model for the state by his definition of the Big Society as: giving power to people, opening up who runs public services and encouraging volunteering. What I question about this proposal of trying to get more people into volunteering is what exactly is new?
