UNFRIENDLY SKIES
It's not just you: Flying on Thanksgiving sucks and it's getting worse. Airlines carefully engineer ways to make coach class cramped and uncomfortable to make the most money from their miles, writes Clive Irving. But while the other half is put through hell, first-class flying has only grown more opulent.
GOOD LUCK

The Supreme Court announced Wednesday that 81-year-old Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had surgery this morning to place a stent in her right coronary artery. She had the surgery after a coronary blockage was discovered. She went to the hospital after she experienced discomfort Tuesday night while doing routine exercise. She will leave the hospital in the next 48 hours. She had recently said she has no plans to step down.

INTO THIN AIR
While Ferguson goes up in flames, murky police behavior is going unchecked. The cops investigating the mysterious murder of a Ferguson man suddenly packed up and left, reports Justin Glawe. Now, the murder tip hotline goes to a charity organization.
UGH

Jian Ghomeshi, the former host of a top-rated Canadian radio show, has surrendered to police and been charged with four counts of sexual assault and one charge of choking. According to Toronto police, Ghomeshi, 47, turned himself in Wednesday. Ghomeshi gained international infamy in recent weeks because of accusations that he had nonconsensual "rough sex" with his girlfriend, allegations that he sexually abused other women, and his subsequent Facebook post in which he claimed it was all consensual BDSM.

THE REAL ENEMY
Last week, anti-government extremist Curtis Wade Holley lured Florida cops to his home by setting a fire and then ambushing them with a gunfire. Holley is a sovereign citizen, an American who doesn't believe in taxes, government, or the authority of any official above a county sheriff. According to a former police chief, these Americans are the greatest threat to our cops, reports Caitlin Dickson.
