It's the interview that's been burning up the Internet—why would Reza Aslan, a Muslim, write a book about Jesus? David Freedlander on Lauren Green, the Fox News correspondent who's now taking the blame. Plus, Lizzie Crocker on the most shocking claims from Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth.

BOOM

Eight people are injured, and four critically, after a "humongous" explosion at a gas plant about 40 miles north of Orlando late Monday night. Gas tanks at the Blue Rhino plant began to explode about 11 p.m., sending a giant fireball into the sky and shaking people's homes in towns as far as 10 miles away. Fifteen people were originally reported missing but have since been located, and the plant says all its employees are accounted for and alive. There were 53,000 20-pound gas cylinders in the part of the plant where the explosion took place, and people nearby said they heard a string of booms.

FBI STING

More than 100 kids were saved from the sex trade and even more pimps arrested in Operation Cross Country VII, but what of the johns? They should also be charged in federal court, says The Daily Beast's Michael Daly.

GOOD LUCK

As the federal budget heads toward a political dead end once again, President Obama announced the first idea from his new plans regarding the economy, offering Republicans a deal to cut corporate taxes in exchange for significant investment in a job-creating program. Obama has long supported lowering corporate taxes, but previously insisted the reform be linked to an individual tax overhaul. Now he's dropping that demand if Republicans will agree to have the government invest in manufacturing infrastructure, community colleges, and the like to generate middle-class jobs. No word yet on what variation of "no" will be the GOP response.

SWITZERLAND

The body of the driver of a train that smashed into another train near Granges-prés-Marnard, Switzerland was found overnight Tuesday as rescuers searched the wreckage. About 26 others were injured; one man was taken by helicopter for treatment, and the rest of the injured were treated at the scene. Officials said it was too early to determine the cause of the crash, which happened when the trains collided head-on about 7 p.m. about 40 miles south of Bern, the Swiss capital.
