CHEAT SHEET
MUST READS FROM ALL OVER

EXCLUSIVE
1. Most Vulnerable U.S. Nuclear Plants

Japan briefly evacuated workers the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant on
Wednesday when radiation levels peaked, thanks to a breach in the
containment vessel at a second reactor. In a desperate measure, the
Defense Ministry was preparing to have helicopters drop water on the
reactor, but even that has proven impossible due to high radiation
levels. With the nuclear crisis in Japan growing hourly, The Daily Beast
rates the vulnerability of all 65 U.S. nuclear facilities based on
safety records, potential disasters and nearby population. Plus, full
coverage of Japan's nuclear crisis.

MIDDLE EAST
2. Bahrain Forces Rout Protesters

At least four people are dead after government forces charged into
Manama's central square and cleared it of protesters. The demonstrators,
mainly Shiites who oppose Bahrains's Sunni rulers, had occupied Pearl
Square for a month; the government it seems was no longer willing to
tolerate them after it declared a state of emergency Tuesday. The dead
include two protesters and two police officers. It is unclear if Saudi
soldiers, who entered Bahrain earlier this week, took part in the
attack.

LIBYA
3. Obama Giving Up on No-Fly Zone

A UN vote later this week on a no-fly zone over Libya is likely to be
too late: Muammar Gaddafi is poised to regain total control of Libya
after his forces captured Ajdabiya, the last town before the rebel
capital of Benghazi. The New York Times says there is "growing
consensus" in the White House that, at this point, a no-fly zone
wouldn't do much to stop Gaddafi anyway. Obama and his advisers
discussed alternatives, including jamming Libyan government radio
signals and giving the $32 billion seized from Gaddafi to his the
rebels.

4. White House Wants Privacy Bill

Mark Zuckerberg may soon have to unfriend President Obama: The White
House will ask Congress on Wednesday to pass a "privacy bill of rights,"
which would protect Americans' Web surfing from data-gathering
companies. The White House's request would require companies to ask
users' permission to use their data for purposes other than the one it
was collected for. It also wants the rules to be enforceable.

WHO KNEW?
5. U.S. Sends Drones to Mexico

The Pentagon has secretly begun sending spy drones into Mexico to
monitor the drug trade. The operation began last month with the hopes of
gathering evidence which can then be handed over to Mexican authorities.
The biggest snag so far? A drone helped locate suspects in the murder of
U.S. ICE agent Jaime Zapata. President Obama and Mexican President
Felipe Calderon agreed to continue the monitoring on March 3.
