Bad news for any of those airline execs (and yes, weary travelers whose credit cards are now maxed out from an unexpected "bonus" to their vacation time abroad) that this will end anytime soon. This could have more far-reaching impact on the airline industry than 9/11. Time for the airlines to put their thinking caps on, as they will likely need to be very nimble to avoid a financial disaster from this!
