Cheat Sheet - Prince Fielder’s Demi Moore Moment

Read This, Skip That ....

July 10, 2014
COVERBOY
Beefy, tattooed Prince Fielder shocked the world with his nude photo on the cover of ESPN the Magazine's annual Body Issue. The cult of the six-pack reigns oppressively supreme, Tim Teeman writes, and it's getting worse for all men.
SCREW THE ACADEMY
No Good Wife? No Mindy Kaling? Are you kidding us, Television Academy? OK, there were a few redeeming nominees named Thursday morning, like SNL's Kate McKinnon and Orange Is the New Black. Kevin Fallon seethes over the egregious snubs, which were lazy and nonsensical.
Auf Wiedersehen

It looks like the Germans have had their fill of American espionage, as the country has now asked the top U.S. intelligence official in Berlin to leave the country. "The representative of the U.S. intelligence services at the United States embassy has been asked to leave Germany," a government spokesman said. That probably means the CIA station chief, but it hasn't been confirmed. The move comes after two suspected cases of American spying as well as the longer-term battle over data-collection by the NSA.

ON YOUR OWN
Weeks ago, a Syrian rebel group predicted ISIS would capture a key city on the Iraq-Syria border unless the U.S. sent help. Josh Rogin reports the prediction has come true after the U.S. ignored repeated calls from the Free Syrian Army to send weapons and food in order to stop the increasingly powerful terror group.
SUSPICIOUS

Atlanta-area police are reopening their investigation of a man's death that looks similiar to the one a prostitute was arrested over this week. Alix Tichelman was charged on manslaughter and drug counts after police say she injected heroin into Google executive Forrest Hayes and left him to die last November. Two months prior to his death, a Georgia man who was dating Tichelman died of a "heroin, Oxycodone and ethanol toxicity." She had recently been arrested for biting the man but released on bond. Now Tichelman is facing drug and manslaughter charges in relation to Hayes' death after being lured back to California in a prostitution sting.
