Wow! For all cash-strapped athletic departments and university administrators (and who besides about a dozen or so big-money programs isn't these days), this should be REQUIRED reading.

Here at the Reverse Auction Research Center, we've been keeping our readers informed about a unique program that has been undertaken by the Athletics Department at the University of Hawaii and its fundraising arm (‘Ahahui Koa Anuenue). Now, the results are in - and their reverse auction for parking spaces has been concluded - with a BIG, BIG NUMBER for 1700 parking spaces - precisely $476,000!!! Read about it here:

Hawaii A.D. Jim Donovan summed it up by commenting:  “This significant increase in donations via the new reverse auction approach seemed to work well by all accounts.”

So, how can your college, your university - maybe even your high school or other institution - make use of a similar reverse auction to bring in more income for use by your school and your programs?
