CHEAT SHEET
MUST READS FROM ALL OVER

WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
1. The Democrats' Birther Book Boon

Once a trademark of the fringe right, Obama birth conspiracies are
dominating the GOP's discourse. Now, a new birther book has topped
Amazon's sales charts before it's even released. Read The Daily Beast's
Michelle Goldberg on how the Republicans' birther problem got out of
control, and why it's such good news for Democrats.

LIBYA
2. Mullen: Rebels Headed Toward Stalemate

Admiral Mike Mullen has some good news, and some bad news. The good
news: Coalition air strikes have degraded Gaddafi's ground forces by 30
to 40 percent. Nevertheless, "It's certainly moving toward a stalemate,"
the chairman of the U.S. Joint chiefs of staff told troops during a
visit to Baghdad. In Libya, however, the rebels seemed to gain some
ground on Gaddafi's forces, taking the Tunisian border town of Wazen and
sending Gaddafi's forces fleeing across the frontier. They also made
progress in Misrata, bolstered by new airstrikes and aid shipments. In
further good news for the rebels, Defense Secretary Robert Gates
announced that the U.S. would be sending armed Predator drones to assist
with the coalition airstrikes.

LAST CALL
3. Japan Revisits Nuclear Zone

Residents from the area around Japan's stricken nuclear plant returned
home, briefly, to gather their belongings before the mandatory
evacuation took effect at midnight. The Japanese government told people
living within a 12-mile radius of the plant to leave when the nuclear
crisis began, but until now the decision to leave was voluntary. Over
78,000 people lived in the zone before the earthquake, and an additional
62,400 people live 12 to 18 miles from the plant. The government
arranged buses for people to return to their homes for two hours, though
houses two miles from the plant were off limits. One woman, Michiko
Koyama, wearing a mask, raincoat, gloves, and shopping bags on her feet,
said, "It feels like my house is burning down, so I want to take as much
as possible."

DROPPING IN
4. McCain Visits Libyan Rebels

Sen. John McCain flew into the rebel stronghold of Benghazi "to get an
on the ground assessment of the situation." "They are my heroes," McCain
said of the rebels as he left his hotel in Benghazi. McCain is the
highest-ranking U.S. official to visit the rebels so far, and he is
expected to meet with the National Transition Council. The senator was
one of the most vocal proponents of U.S. Military intervention in Libya;
he defended Obama's decision to conduct airstrikes and criticized his
decision to hand leadership over to NATO. He has also pushed for arming
the rebels, saying the U.S. Cannot allow the conflict to turn into a
military deadlock.

BOOOOO
5. Obama Heckled Over Manning Treatment

At a $5,000-a-seat fundraiser, even the heckling is well-mannered: After
twenty-one activists from the Bradley Manning Support Network
interrupted a speech by President Obama at a $5,000-a-seat fundraising
event at the St. Regis hotel in San Francisco, they stuck around and
spoke with the president about their concerns. Some donned shirts that
read "Free Bradley Manning" and broke into a song protesting Manning's
treatment, singing, "Alone in a 6x12 cell sits Bradley / 23 hours a day
is night / The 5th and 8th Amendments say this kind of thing ain't right
/ We paid our dues, where's our change?" Several protesters were asked
to leave, but others remained. Obama later spoke with them and defended
the government's handling of the case, saying the release of the
documents damaged diplomatic sources. Manning, who awaits trial for the
leaking of the WikiLeaks diplomatic cables, was recently moved to the
prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Critics say Manning was subject to
cruel and unusual punishment when he was held in solitary confinement
and forced to sleep naked while being held at the Marine Corps brig in
Quantico, Va.

An Introduction to Justification

++++++++++++++++++++++

Justification is a legal declaration in which God declares the sinner not guilty.

Do Good People Go to Heaven?

There is a belief among many that good people go to Heaven. The purpose of this post it to see if this belief is true or not?
